Lounging Essentials

I am the queen of lounging around on winter weekends...you know the kind of days when you get sucked into a closet organizing project/soup-making bender/(most likely) a Real Housewives of Beverly Hills marathon.

And this, my dears, is my lazy weekend uniform. First, the comfiest, cutest tees in the world from Neena Creates (above). I probably own almost ten of these, and wear them literally every, single weekend.

Everything else comes from J.Crew--how boring, I know. But when it's love, it's love. First, I absolutely adore their ultra-knit sweatpants (1.). Lightweight, drapey, and fitted but roomy, these are just the perfect sweatpants for comfort + style. Of course, if I'm forced to leave my apartment for groceries or other errands, I'll usually slip on a pair of basic black leggings (2.) and pretend like I'm going to yoga when I'm done (instead of the truth -- back to my couch!).

Finally, I always have to keep something on my perpetually cold feet. Usually, campy boy's wool socks for lounging [warning: you need teeny tiny feet for these] (3.), although I'm also loving the classic St. James stripes on these men's socks (4.). If I need to head down to the laundry room or am shuffling around in the kitchen or bathroom, fleece-lined moccasins are my go-to. These kid's mocs (5.) are just so cute, although, again, you'll want to have pretty small feet to fit in these.

So please confess, what's your lazy weekend uniform? I know you have one....:)

Etsy Fave: Neena Creates

Etsy just might be my secret valentine because they were kind enough to help me discover seller Neena Creates today, who makes probably, the cutest Sunday morning errand tees ever. Love the loose-but-not-too-loose fit, sweet sentiments, and the use of eco-friendly fabrics.

I might also have a soft spot for this shop because the seller, Penelope started off her featured seller interview by telling us "I slept in till 11:30 am and still haven't taken a shower..." Um, hi, that is me every Saturday morning. Also, "I daydream a lot. I like working off 'to do' lists but have many periods of procrastination. Laughing is my favorite, as well as being evil to my husband, hahahahahaha! I have high aspirations, tend to ramble on, confusing myself and others."

I think we may have been separated at birth. Some more adorable tees below.
