I find that people want to decorate their living room more than any other room in their home. This is where we gather, entertain, and live. I have a few photos of what I would like my living room to look like one day for inspiration... gorgeous chandeliers, large abstract art, cool coffee tables, decorative pillows and lots of built in bookshelves... Neutral Nelly

I'm not one to shy away from color, but every now and then I have a project where sticking to a neutral palette just feels right. There is something fresh and calm feeling about each of these tonal spaces.

  How about the window behind the cabinet above? Pretty creative use of existing space.

I'm not sure what it is, but I'm totally digging deep, dark purples this week. I guess it just fits this moody and romantic time of year. I love, love, love how the color plays off of the warm and weathered wood on the floor and ceiling here.
