So, I have all of the necessary equipment for this look...long, thick hair, a big ole can of hairspray and an end-times worthy stockpile of bobby pins and hair ties. Unfortunately, I also happen to have a complete and utter lack of eye hand coordination and motor skills.It's true. I've honestly never been able to get my hair into a cute bun. Ever. I shudder to think of all of those sloppy ponytails that could have been work-appropriate buns had I just had the wherewithal. But despite my lacking skills in the buns department, I can still admire a good one when I see one.
I am totally digging all of these "back-of-the-head" shots of intricate hairstyles. Who knew I was on to something when I had my family photograph my hair from 17 different angles at prom?
