Some of you might remember this spread from the December 2008 issue of Veranda -- one of my favorite holiday spreads of all time. It feels luxurious, and warm, and exotic all at once. I love how designer Mary McDonald used both traditional holiday elements like lush evergreen garlands adorned with citrus fruits and more original ideas, like incorporating iridescent peacock feathers into the design.While a Christmas like this is certainly out of reach for 99.999 percent of us, I still love poring over the pictures for inspiration.
