Everyone knows that handwritten notes are well on their way to the Island of Misfit Correspondence Technology (say hi to rotary phones for me when you get there), but that's all the more reason to love giving and receiving holiday cards. Taking the time to write out a card and mail it shows someone how much you care, and better yet, the right card will be kept as a keepsake for years to come -- imagine a future where grandpa and grandma's love letters have to be fished out of an e-mail junk folder-- kind of loses the cache, right?
While I'd love to say that "it's the thought that counts" a cheap drugstore card is just that much easier to toss in the trash. That's certainly not the case with the lovely cards below. Sentiment + style = a holiday card your friends and family will actually want to put out on display. Enjoy.
