Here's what I wished my work desk looked like right now. Perhaps another goal for this year will be to cultivate some actual tranquility at work as opposed to the paper and empty-coffee-cup-covered atrocity I work at everyday!
Absolutely loved this pinboard idea from Angele Parlange's home featured in Lonny Mag.

So much to love here -- the black lacquered floors, mix of modern and vintage lighting, and fashion and art books and prints. Very fashion editor chic, right?

Back to work all too soon. Of course, one of these work spaces would make Monday mornings much more bearable.

Loving shades of black so faded they're almost grey. Think worn-in motorcycle jackets, chalkboards and grainy heirloom photos.
Leaving Aix-en-Provence this morning, and thinking I would love to sit down and write at this little country desk from Marie Claire Maison. On to St. Tropez!
Love the buttery yellow and marigold color scheme here, and the hidden desk is brilliant.
I couldn't choose between these two heavenly spaces for today's inspiration. Now, let's all collectively exhale and pretend this is where we are!
I was flipping through the Viva Terra catalog, which to be honest, is not usually a particularly thrilling experience, when I saw this little stroke of design genius. I would have killed for this desk in college when my desk was a cluttered mass of textbooks and looseleaf. As an aside, I was pleasantly surprised by many of Viva Terra's latest offerings and I recommend moseying over to their site to check out this desk and all of their stuff if you haven't been in a while.
