The Loaded Trunk-Trunk Show coming to Georgetown

Some of you might remember my post about The Loaded Trunk, where I swooned over their authentic Mexican bedspreads, turkish tinned copper, and suzani pillows. If you fell in love with The Loaded Trunk too, I have some exciting news. Owner, Roni, fresh off a recent buying trip in India, is coming to DC for a semi-private trunk show this Wednesday, May 12 from 3-7 p.m.

I plan to stop by after work (around 6) and would love to see some of you there. If you're interested in attending, e-mail Roni@loadedtrunk.com to RSVP and get the location. If you plan to attend, be sure to comment below, so I can keep an eye out for you!

Love: Papel Picado

Seeing as there is still an hour left of Cinco de Mayo, I wanted to highlight Papel Picado -- a Mexican paper-cutting folk art that I just adore. Seen to great effect in this lovely Mexican meets French wedding. And of course, the invites would be made by Rifle Paper Co's brilliant Anna Bond. Love.

Inspiration 3.4

Yup, that's right. I'm going to start rolling event styling ideas into the daily inspiration. When else can you create something as awesome as this? Love this idea for a lush, bright wedding inspired by India.
